It has been almost four months since the anti-extradition bill protests began in Hong Kong, and the movement has evolved into a battle for Hong Kong’s autonomy, justice for victims of police brutality and genuine democracy. Too many lives have been lost; too many people injured by police and thugs in collusion with the authorities; too many have been forced to flee overseas.

In defiance of the brutal crackdown and terrorisation by the state, Hongkongers have been stepping up in unprecedented numbers and myriad ways to fight against tyranny. We have not been fooled by the Hong Kong government’s insincere attempts at reconciliation; instead we have directed our resistance towards the root of this chaos - the tightening grip of Chinese authorities on the puppet HK government.

We call on Hongkongers and our supporters in London to join us on Saturday 28 September for a march in solidarity with the people of Hong Kong, and against China’s suppression of our promised rights and freedoms near the 70th anniversary of the founding of People’s Republic of China. 28/9 also marks the 5th anniversary of the Umbrella Movement, when millions of people occupied Hong Kong’s central districts to protest against the Chinese government’s denial of genuine democratic elections.

Fight Against Tyranny, Stand With Hong Kong - for Autonomy, Justice and Democracy!
